Something to Tell You is the second studio album by American pop rock band Haim. It was released on July 7, 2017, by Columbia Records. The album's lead single, Want You Back, was released on May 3, 2017, followed by the release of the promotional single Right Now. On May 10, the album cover was revealed, along with the preorder announcement. Little of Your Love was then announced as the second single on June 18, 2017, via Twitter. Nothing's Wrong was released as the third single on August 21. Regardless, Something to Tell You isnt likely to change HAIMs story, and the sisters presence is not going to fade anytime soon, nor should it. But as a recorded artifact, the album falls short of providing a greater realization of the bands honest potential, losing its better threads in a clutter of noise too loosely woven together to enhance the intended tapestry. Essential Tracks: Want You Back , Walking Away , and Little of Your Love. Something To Tell You. You Never Knew. Haim Something to Tell You Columbia. Anyone whos been celebrated or taken on as a pet cause by both Taylor Swift and Paul Thomas Anderson must be doing something right. Haim are coming correct with their sophomore album, Something to Tell You, a sister-act sequel that betters the original. Andersons fandom is fairly easy to trace, too: Even if he switched up movie settings a while ago, he clearly maintains a home-team affection for br. Something to Tell You is a record that doesnt seem to have much to tell us at all. In 2017, that doesnt cut it. Not that they should have made a protest album, but the lack of any trace of an outside world on Something to Tell You makes their bubble glare. Something to Tell You-released exactly 10 years on from Haims first show together beyond their oldies family cover band Rockenhaim-does not radically depart from their taut and gleaming spark of a debut, 2013s Days Are Gone. But theres still nothing like Haim around. No other rock band in popular music an anomalous statement already has mixed styles so seamlessly-rattling and gliding from one hook to another-so as to garner a remix from Giorgio Moroder, a feature from AAP Ferg, an onstage jam with Jenny Lewis, and an opening tour slot for Taylor Swift. Haim's second album is 'Something to Tell You. London Evening StandardeyevineRedux. Haim a trio of L. sisters with an endearing backstory and a bunch of immaculately catchy songs blew up pretty much out of nowhere with their 2013 debut, Days Are Gone. Its taken Haim four years to deliver a follow-up LP, and you can hear the studied sense of craft all over Something to Tell You, recorded mainly in their parents living room with assistance from Vampire Weekend studio-auteur-turned-pop-superproducer Rostam Batmanglij and Haims longtime collaborator Ariel Rechtshaid. Something to Tell You. Summary: The second full-length release for the trio of sisters was co-produced with Ariel Rechtshaid and features contributions from Rostam Batmanglij and Dev Hynes. The Haim sisters have impeccable taste and a DJs keen sense of what kinds of music should not but in fact secretly do work well together. The mix of 70s folk-pop sensibilities, 80s and 90s girl-group vocals, and 21st-century indie-rock guitar theatrics powering the trios 2013 debut album Days Are Gone was smartly offbeat in concept and dutifully sleek in form. Rare is the record that conquers fashion store PA systems, open-air festivals, and indie-rock blogs at the same time. Four years later, indie rock and pop are much more conversant in each others styles and players. Dawn Richard wor
